116 g/t (3.7 oz/t) Au over 0.9 m and 4.15 g/t Au over 16.8 m at the Dufferin Mine
Rimouski, 2 February 2010 – Ressources Appalaches (APP-TSX-V) announces the results from ten of the 23 boreholes drilled at the Dufferin Mine, Nova Scotia. Initial results show high grades, reaching 116 g/t Au over 0.9 metre, and significant lengths, e.g., 16.8 metres at 4.15 g/t Au, particularly in Borehole F09-11.
In addition to the results from the ten boreholes presented below, samples from eleven other boreholes carrying gold values are currently in the laboratory for repeat analyses. In order to corroborate the analytical results, given the quantity and size of the gold particles (VG) observed in the drill core, about thirty samples are now being re-analyzed to confirm their grades. The results will be released as soon as they are received.
23 boreholes were drilled for a total advance of 3,173 metres. The first six Saddle-Reef type veins were systematically drilled at 75- to 150-metre intervals to supplement earlier drill sections over a length of 650 metres and down to a depth of 210 metres.
